With the slogan "13 was never so lucky" Sif&Co, the International Franchising Show, Business Opportunities and Associated Trade, is announcing the 13th National Franchising Awards.

The deadline for entries is September 19th. The awards are divided into eight categories for the Best Analysis and Research; Most Outstanding Individual or Institution in Franchising; and the Best International Projection of a Spanish franchise. Another three awards recognise the Best Hotel and Catering Franchise in Spanish market; Best Services Franchise in Spanish market; Best Retailing Franchise in Spanish market. The awards are rounded off with the awards for the Best Internet-established Franchise and the Best Management by Franchise-holder.

The jury commissioned with deciding on the winners of each category in the awards is made up of members representing the Ministry of Economy, the Generalitat Valenciana regional government, the Council of Chambers of Commerce of the Valencian Community, AEF (Spanish Association of Franchisers) and Sif&Co, as well as three former award-winners.

The presentation of the awards will take place at a gala on October 23rd, held during the 19th edition of Sif&Co from 23rd to 25th October 2008 at Feria Valencia.
